Envisioning Labs sets up subsidiary, Rockburst Technologies Inc.
In collaboration with our venture capital partners Chrysalix Venture Capital, we have established a new subsidiary, Rockburst Technologies Inc. that will focus on the research and commercialization of transcritical CO2 comminution.

We Are Finalists! Natural Resources Canada - Crush It! Challenge
We are delighted to report that we are one of the six finalists in the Crush It! Competition organized by Natural Resources Canada. This contest aims at "finding and advancing innovative solutions that reduce energy use, greenhouse gas emissions, improve productivity and help our mining industry become more competitive".
How To (Inevitably) Innovate
Yes, as an innovation firm it is our job to identify opportunities for innovation for our clients, and while there is certainly a methodology to it, it is hardly something reserved for "innovative people", if such a thing exists. The -not so- secret sauce of innovation is really a two-ingredient combination: collaboration and cross-pollination. Allow me to elaborate on both.

Really glad to report that we are one of the two Canadian semi-finalists in this year’s open innovation contest Disrupt Mining organized by Goldcorp and KPMG. According to Goldcorp: “Now in it’s third year, #DisruptMining aims to encourage new ideas, spawn new technologies, and generate new opportunities to tackle the mining industry’s most vexing challenges.”

2018 was a coming of age year for us. We are proud of having assisted clients in a wide range of innovations that matter: from intelligent assistants for smart city implementations with Deutsche Telekom to designing complex devices for next-gen additive manufacturing devices for the Government of Canada.
Envisioning Labs Wins Innovative Solutions Canada’s 3D Printing and Additive Manufacturing Challenge
We are delighted to announce that Envisioning Labs Inc. has been awarded a contract with the Government of Canada to develop an innovative solution for the National Research Council of Canada (NRC).
3rd Place at the “Livable Smart Cities” Innovation Challenge by Deutsche Telekom
With a proposal of building an AI city assistant, Envisioning Labs earned the third prize in this international innovation contest organized by HeroX and hosted by Bonn-based multinational Deutsche Telekom. It’s like Siri for the city of Bonn, we call ‘her’ BONN-ie :)

Innovation feeds off on diversity of thought, and shines when there are restrictive conditions that forces creativity.
First Attempt at Open Innovation
During 2016 and part of 2017 Envisioning Labs ran Test Tube, a crowdsourced innovation initiative with the mantra: "we build innovations that matter". This was our first attempt at accelerating the creation of important innovations that would deliver social and/or environmental impact. We did not succeed.
